Andrew Jahn is on a mission to raise $10,000 for Lanark County Food Bank - The Hunger Stop. Thanks to the generosity of Good Neighbours, Andrew has raised almost $8,000 ($7880.50!)

$10,000 will purchase two months worth of milk and eggs for Clients; 38% of whom are Children.

The Hunger Stop is the longest serving Food Bank in Lanark County; more than 35 years. They serve almost all of Lanark County North; from Carleton Place to almost Arnprior. They spend $40,000/month; up from $5,000/month, five years ago. They provide five days worth of food/month and receive no funding from any level of government.

Director & Educator, Andrew Jahn, and (hopefully a Special Guest), will be partnering with 18-year-old Master of Ceremonies, Hayden Swierenga, and 17-year-old Christian rapper, Ronin Hashimoto. https://8vamusic.net/blogs/musical-musings/posts/7784957/busking-for-everyone

Tentative lineup for the August 29th concert: • Andrew Jahn who is a multi-genre singer-songwriter, pianist, guitarist, and composer of classical works who sings regularly at the National Arts Centre, with the Ewashko singers. He has a heart for young people struggling to thrive and believes in giving back to the community.

• Ronin Hashimoto started writing music at age 14. He is now a 17-year-old student at Notre Dame Catholic High School. In his free time, he still enjoys writing and recording rap music. Ronin takes inspiration from a variety of rap’s many sub genres and wants his lyrics to express his love for God.

• Hayden Swierenga, an 18-year-old budding musician, will be the afternoon's Master of Ceremonies.
